On February 19, over 600 Rotary Club President Elects arrived in Seattle for Pacific Northwest PETS training.

As the largest PETS program in the world, our club’s future leaders had the opportunity to network with fellow District, Zone and International peers from the USA and Canada. District Governor Elect Cindi O’Neil with District Trainer Paul Nicholson presented interactive training about our D5110 programs and opportunities to grow Rotary.

The President Elects shared the needs of their communities and challenges that will help guide Rotary moving forward. The balance of the weekend was training, and programs designed for leadership growth of club presidents and a chance for open dialogue on where we as Rotarians wish to see Rotary in the future.

This year we were honored to have Rotary International General Secretary John Hewko, Rotary International President Elect Holger Knaack, Rotary Board member Johrita Solari, incoming Board member Valarie Wafer and Past Rotary International President Rick King. As Clubs, you should have your President elect share their experience at PETS. Rotary is a bottom up driven organization and it starts with you at the club level.
