Jan. 18, 2022–Zoom meetings make it possible for clubs to attract speakers of national and international prominence. The Rotary Club of Corvallis’ speaker on Thursday is Aaron Williams appointed by President Obama to serve as the Director of the Peace Corps.

The remarkable story of this leader in youth service, international development, foreign policy, and global business began in then-segregated housing on the south side of Chicago. His personal journey, achievements and dedication to service are inspirational and instructional, and especially so for young people of color.

The Rotary Club of Corvallis invites you to Mr. Williams’ presentation this Thursday at noon. For a link to the zoom meeting contact: info@corvallisrotary.org.

If you can’t make it to the meeting, you can see a recording of the presentation at your leisure posted on our Facebook site: https://www.facebook.com/CorvallisRotary
Mr. Williams’ book, “A Life Unimagined: The Rewards of Mission-Driven Service in the Peace Corps and Beyond”, is available on Amazon books. For more information or questions contact Corvallis Rotarian Rob Thurston at robjant@comcast.net .
