So you find yourself in the midst of a pandemic, in a region recovering from devastation fires, and still conducting meetings on Zoom, what do you do? Well, if you’re a Rogue Rotarian (as in Medford Rogue Rotary Club) you begin holding quarterly blood drives to help meet the unprecedented need!
Partnering with the Red Cross, these Rotarians are finding safe ways to contribute, but still remain socially distanced, and protecting members and volunteers. At our third quarterly event, on March 10th, we had 36 units donated from 32 Rotarians and friends. And best of all, this Blood Drive included people representing many different Rotary Clubs here in Jackson County: Medford, Ashland, Rogue Valley After Five, Upper Rogue, Ashland Lithia Springs, and Central Point.
