Global Grant Scholarship Opportunity

One year full time graduate study for
inbound or outbound students
September 2018 – August 2019

 

Have you ever wondered if you could bring an international project to your own community?

Would you like to assist a US student’s graduate studies in another part of the world?

Would you like to help provide high-level training to a bright person in a 3rd world country?

Are you involved with a Global project and wish someone in your receiving country was better able to assist?

Do you know dynamic individual who could greatly impact one of Rotary’s six areas of focus, if given the opportunity to study at the graduate level?

If you’ve answered yes to any of these questions, then you need to know:

Applications will be accepted during the fall of 2017 for a 2018-19 scholarship – closing date is January 15th 2018.

$30,000 Scholarship Available

The successful candidate must be sponsored by a Rotary club in District 5110 and also sponsored by an international club/district, for graduate study outside his/her home country. Prior to selection the candidate must be accepted into a Masters or equivalent level program for study in one of Rotary’s 6 areas of focus:

  • Peace and conflict prevention/resolution
  • Disease prevention and treatment
  • Water and sanitation
  • Maternal and child health
  • Basic education and literacy
  • Economic and community development
